Section C - Contract Agreement

This agreement dated* Date requiredInvalid formatrequiredInvalid format (mm/dd/yy) is made between the above named person and and Maniktala Associates, PC dba Natya Academy (NA), a New York Professional Corporation. This agreement supersedes any verbal conversations or agreements. NA will take all necessary steps to ensure this contract remains in force. If for any reason NA is unable to meet its obligations as described below all monies paid to NA will be returned to the Client. If in the event the Client cancels the event or this contract the non-refundable deposit will be kept and an additional 20% of the Item fee will be owed by the Client to NA to cover any expenditures incurred to date.

Music
The Client may suggest type and style of music and this information must be presented to NA as soon as reasonably possible prior to the event. NA reserves the right to choose whatever music for the event they feel is reasonable and tasteful.

Costumes
NA will be working with a local merchant for the design of the costumes to be used for the performance. NA reserves the right to select all costumes for the event.  The costumes will be brightly colored for the event and conservative in nature.

Quality
NA will make all the necessary efforts to ensure the dancers will be prepared for a professional looking event. The level of dancers experience will determine the overall quality of the performance. NA makes nor warranties or guarantees that the definition of a professional looking show is the same for every spectator, but does ascertain that the term “professional looking show” is a general term as defined by the majority of spectators. The quality of the show is also governed by the location and music systems available, which NA takes no responsibility.

Performance Night
NA performers will require use of a locked room to house costumes, props and other personal belongings for a minimum of 1 hour before the performance time and 1 hour following. The direction of the dancers will be sole responsibility of NA.
